Appearance
Hybrids have a mix of features from each parent, but tribe of the hybrid's mother is the dominant tribe. This means that the hybrid will have mostly his or her mother's physical traits with a few from his or her father. A hybrid could have splotches of color from both parents (ex. a blue and red SeaWing-SkyWing) or could have a smooth blend of both parents' colors (ex. a purple SeaWing-SkyWing). Alternatively, your hybrid could look like they are pure *insert mother's tribe*, but still have some minor deviations from that tribe (ex. a SeaWing-SkyWing that looks like a pure SeaWing but has very large wings and unusually purplish scales)

(Note that every dragon is different and therefore there will inevitably be exceptions)
Hybrids have some of the most diverse personalities. Like everything else about them, traits are inherited from both their parents and especially their mothers.
Abilities
Hybrids are not meant to be abused and used for OP and unoriginal characters. Hybrids are usually weaker than pure-tribe dragons. If both parents don't have an ability such as fire, venom or gills, the hybrid most likely won't have it. Hybrids are only allowed up to one unique ability. This means that a dragon may not have any unique abilities (ex. a SeaWing-SkyWing can either have fire, gills, or bioluminescence, but not all of them)
Creation/roleplay guidelines
-Unless your dragon has two in-character parents of different tribes, and at least one of them is not played by you, you will need a Hybrid Card from the Jewel Shop.
