Newly hatched to 8 months: Tiny, weak, unable to fight, and unable to speak
9 months to 1 year: Small, weak, unable to fight, and learning to speak, but growing rapidly
1 year to 2 years: Gaining weight, able to speak, able to train
3 years: Smaller than adult dragons but growing well, this is when SandWing tail barbs are fully developed, and dragonets are able to fight
4 years to 6 years: Equivalent to teenage human years, the dragon's growth is beginning to slow down
7 years to 9 years: Dragons over 7 years old are considered full-grown, but do not reach sexual maturity until 8 or 9 years old. Dragons this age have ceased growing rapidly and will only gain a bit more size each year.
