Appearance
Smaller than average, Kingfisher has armored scales that are a dark orange, nearly the color of rust. She has dark yellow eyes, with dark brown rings around the pupils. She has light, honey colored under scales with the membranes of her wings the same color. The scales of her wings fade from the dark red to a much lighter amber, which is further accented by dappled amber and gold scales on her back and tail. Kingfisher has a single long scar that reaches from slightly above her back left leg to about halfway down her tail, the only sign of any battles she may have fought in.
Personality
Kingfisher is a very laid back kind of gal. She's calm and friendly to those who she knows well, but can be cold and distant to those she does not care for. She is calm, airing on the side of laziness, though this helps her with being a negotiator. She is not one to do any work without wanting to participate, though she is good with focusing on a given task for a short amount of time. Loyalty is not important to her, though, like other MudWings, she would die for her sibs. For those she dislikes, she makes so obvious, blatantly telling the perpetrator that she dislikes them or that they are not to her fancy. Even when perturbed, she is calm and tends to resort to harsh words spoken in a slow manner. Despite her chill nature, Kingfisher is very curious, constantly making notes about things she finds interesting. She enjoys philosophy and astronomy, and is constantly thinking up possible ways to change things. When Gharial has prisoners, she finds it fascinating to record what happens to the subjects, though she can not watch when pain is inflicted. Kingfisher isn't the most empathetic of dragons, but talking to her about something she finds interesting is just one way to connect. She focuses on one thing intently for about a week before switching off to something else that intrigues her, which causes her to never get too far in her research.
