The Rainforest Kingdom is the home of the RainWings and some of the NightWings. It is, as the name suggests, a rainforest, filled with flora and fauna. It is warm and humid, and especially rainy. Many medicinal plants are native to the rainforest, making the RainWings accomplished healers. It is bright and sunny most of the time, but most of the light is blocked by the many trees, making the ground darker and cooler.
RainWing Village
The RainWing village is hidden in the treetops, and very sunny. Hammocks and sunning platforms dot the area, which is lined by RainWing treehouses. Some have roofs of leaves while others are open to the sky. Instead of using precious stones and metals to decorate their home, RainWings use flowers found in the rainforest. The royal treehouse is in the center of the RainWing Village, slightly larger and higher up than the other treehouses, but is otherwise very similar. There are three hatcheries in the RainWing village, containing the eggs of most everyone in the tribe. Many are anonymous, but many others are marked and sorted to tie them to parents.

NightWing Village
Most of the NightWings of the rainforest live in the NightWing village. The village cool and the ground is muddy. The houses are made of wood, leaves, vines, mud, and other natural materials that can be found in the rainforest. Most of the NightWings living there are friendly towards their RainWing neighbors and have accepted the RainWing queen as their own.. Their roles in the Rainforest Kingdom have become important and deeply ingrained in kingdom. Many NightWings become nighttime guards, or guards of any type really, as they are naturally more muscular than RainWings. Unlike the RainWings, the NightWings prefer to have their own nests and keep their eggs with them. It is NightWing custom for the mother to name the dragonets.
Other Locations
The Healer's Pavilion is located close to the RainWing Village but not inside of it. The Royal Pavilion is halfway between the RainWing and NightWing villages and used for any sort of official business.

Society
RainWings are usually pacifists, and refrain from violence. instead of attacking dragons that stray into their rainforest, they use their tranquilizer blowdarts (coated with treefrog poison) to knock them out for a few hours before leaving them back on their border. RainWings can fight, they just are not very good nor very keen on it. Taking at least one self-defense class is a requirement, though many RainWings choose not to attend anyway. If a RainWing really wanted to battletrain, he or she would have to ask the NightWings for help. Although the rainforest NightWings have become far more peaceful than the rest of their tribe, they still value fighting ability far above the RainWings.
The RainWings take care of their young as a community, some members of the tribe assigned to the teaching of classes for dragonets. All RainWings are taught to gather fruit, shoot their venom accurately, navigate the rainforest, recognize plants, etc. though some Rain dragons choose to become healers and learn about tending to wounds and using medicinal plants from the current healers. Many RainWings do not know who their families are. Before becoming mates, two dragons do a venom test, and if each dragon's venom is counteracted by the other, they're blood relatives and cannot become mates or have eggs.
Each adult RainWing in the tribe has an assignment, from fruit-gathering to venom shooting classes to guarding. Dragons without an assignment get leftovers at feeding time and last choice for sun-time spots. The queen oversees the giving out of assignments and can take a dragon's assignment away or change it. NightWings in the village function a bit differently. They prefer to be more specialized in their fields, so there are builders, writers, cooks, etc. in the NightWing Village. Every rainforest NightWing is taught to hunt and fight.
The passing of the crown from mother to daughter is unique from the other tribes. Whereas in the other tribes the queen and challenging princess fight to the death, RainWing queens are given a day to choose a test (such as a race or a camouflage contest) and if she is beaten, the throne is peacefully handed over to her heir. RainWing queens do not wear crowns of metal or jewels, instead donning wreaths of flowers. Rainforest queens are not known for their grandeur in wealth or power and are historically the most casual of all the other tribes' rulers. Laws are not strict, but there are some important rules that must be followed. Punishment for disobeying the RainWing queen is almost never cruel, unless the current ruler is especially unusual.
Names in the RainWing tribe are usually tropical plants and animals (Orchid, Kinkajou, Glory (for morning glory)) or descriptive names. (Exquisite, Grandeur, Handsome)
NightWing names are usually two-part names (Secretkeeper, Bigtail, Starflight) or the names of concepts. (Hope, Wisdom, Vengence) Many NightWings are named after their traits or destiny. (Deathbringer was an assassin, Morrowseer was allegedly a seer, Strongwings had, well, large wings) Rainforest NightWing names are decidedly less ominous and scary than the main tribe's.
Other
-RainWings are usually the only ones to collect fruit or become healers
-Most teachers in the rainforest are NightWings (teaching reading, geography, writing, etc), but most instructors are RainWings (teaching hands-on practical skills that are useful in the rainforest, such as fruit-gathering)
