YOU MUST HAVE READ THIS TO APPLY FOR A MUDWING CHARACTER! THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT INFORMATION, ESPECIALLY IF YOU HAVE NOT READ THE WINGS OF FIRE SERIES.
Appearance
Appearance
MudWings are large, muscular dragons with thick, armored scales, flat snouts, and broad heads. Their thick horns are slightly curved, though stay close to the back of their head. Their scales are usually earthy colors, like brown or amber, though they may have gold or amber underscales that glimmer when caught in sunlight. Occasionally, MudWings may have odd markings, such as dappled scales. Their eyes are brown, gold, or amber, at times with brownish-yellow ringed pupils. Their nostrils are located on the top of their heads in order for them to lay submerged in mud. Because of their large and robust bodies, they are known for being the strongest of the Pyrrhian tribes.
(General) Demeanor
(Note that every dragon is different and therefore there will inevitably be exceptions)
MudWings are known for being unintelligent due to their calm nature and their constant hunger, though this is just a stereotype. Unknown to most of the other tribes, they have an intricate social fabric that revolves around siblings. All MudWings care deeply about their siblings and will do anything to protect them. The parents, who leave them at birth, are not involved in the raising of dragonets. Instead, the oldest sibling, the BigWings, takes on that responsibility. MudWings are not very ambitious, compared to the other tribes, as shown by their queens who prefer not to fight unless absolutely necessary.
Abilities
MudWings have some of the most diverse abilities, and can be compared to a mix of SandWing and SeaWing strengths. They can hold their breath up to an hour and enjoy lazing in warn rivers. When they are warm enough, they can breathe fire if warm enough. Due to their muscular body, they are quite strong. They camouflage into mud and dirt and may rest when partially submerged by water or mud. They can use mud to ease pain and treat wounds, acting as a natural healer.
MudWings that hatch from blood-red eggs are resistant to fire. Burns will still hurt them, but they will heal rapidly. Should a burn be too deep or large, it will not fully heal, resulting in a scar. Fire-resistant MudWings cannot heal internal wounds and the skill is mostly limited to a dragon's scales. There is a potential for them to survive in lava for very short stretches of time. When burned, a MudWing with fireproof scales will be burnt before healing instantly and rippling back to their original color.

Creation/roleplay guidelines
-MudWings are generally larger than most tribes, and usually very muscular, they have a lot of battle training, but they prefer to talk instead of immediately launching into battle.
-MudWings do not have any animus ancestry, so animus magic would not be applicable for a pure MudWing. If your dragon has NightWing or SandWing blood, then they have a very low change of hatching with animus magic.
-MudWings need contact with mud at least once every few days in order to keep their mood and health at their best.
-Blood-red eggs are rare and you must have the item 'Fire Immunity' in your possession to create a MudWing hatched from one. You can purchase the item for Jewels here.
